All is Well, Safely rest, God is nigh

On behalf of the President of the United States, the Department of the Air Force, and a grateful nation, we offer this flag for the faithful and dedicated service of Amanda Jo Bray-Gamache, Senior Airman.

Amanda was only 25.  She had lived a good life. She has wonderful parents, grandparents and friends.  All truly great people not only the in community, but in heart and soul.

On Friday May 6th Amanada and her husband were both in a one-car accident where they both died.

On Friday May 13 we sat at her funeral after almost a week of major decisions and military protocol. She had been flown back, back to her roots, to the town she was raised in.

After a 21 gun salute and the playing of Taps, the flag over her casket was folded with utmost respect and precision and she was laid to rest in her small town cemetery.

I am so grateful that Amanda knew the Lord personally, because today I know she's with our Father in heaven.

Day is done ...
Gone the sun ...
From the lakes ...
From the hills ...
From the sky ...
All is well ...
Safely rest ...
God is nigh...

Fading light ...
Dims the sight ...
And a star ...
Gems the sky...
Gleaming bright ...
From afar...
Drawing nigh ...
Falls the night ..

Thanks and praise ...
For our days ...
Neath the sun ...
Neath the stars ...
Neath the sky ...
As we go ...
This we know ...
God is nigh ...
