It's a Snow Day!

Right now it is blowing and snowing here.  Hundreds of schools across the state are closed.  The governor called for a state of emergency last night.  I haven't ever in all my years seen schools closed the night before snow and ice!

We plan to take it easy today.  So far I've made it from the bed to the couch... ate a plate of pancakes and drank 2 1/2 cups of coffee..  We will be taking it easy.. :-)

Stay inside and stay safe if at all possible.  Enjoy your families, cook, play games and just relax!

We've got ice and freezing rain here - but an hour north they have 6 inches of snow.
My husband and I both work from home, so as long as there's electricity - we're having to work. Hoping you enjoy your day relaxing, staying in and warm and playing games!
Hugs and warm wishes,
Deb

It is true that they anticipate it being bad and close schools more now than they ever have before. It is pretty miserable out there. We are thankful that we are retired and can stay inside. Here in the Wichita area it isn't as bad as where you are yet...but bad enough.

Stay cozy and warm, and enjoy your day!
