Wa Wa Wa...

Have you met someone who is "busy" all the time?  They don't have time in the day for anything "because they are running to do this, running to do that, needed for this, needed for that, they need more hours in their day, they don't hardly sleep" etc.... ?  After while all I hear is the wa-wa-wa of Charlie Brown's teacher. Don't you think that we have a choice in our busy-ness?  We should put God first, our families second and all other things third.  If our relationship with God or our family are lacking due to anything thing else that is in our lives, we are doing something wrong.  Start saying no.  Don't apologize, just tell the truth.  "I cannot work on the children's committee because I need to spend time at home with my family this weekend."  Practice out loud..get used to hearing yourself say no.  Then take steps to purposefully slow your life down.  I don't believe that God ever intended us to be near as busy as we are today.  What do you think?

I'm not as busy as most people . . .and feel guilty, like I'm not doing enough! ha! The no word is often hard to say . . .So glad we can always say the yes word to Jesus!
