Us and Them

Are you of the "Us and Them" crowd? If you go to such-and-such church you are "them," but if you go to my church you are "us?" I wonder what God thinks about that? Aren't all Christians (who are saved by God's grace) brothers and sisters in Christ? Gods people are all over the place; in Methodist churches, Catholic Churches, Pentecostal Churches etc... WE all are the body. Not we (only) are the body. All Christians together. Are you making someone who is not of your same denomination or thoughts feel like they are an outcast? What would Jesus do? God doesn't see denominations, He sees hearts.

In the last town I lived in we had yearly Thanksgiving services. All of the town's churches were invited to attend. It was always wonderful to meet up with all the different denominations. Yes, some of us believed a bit differently, but with Christ in our hearts as our Savior, we had THE main common denominator.

1 Cor. 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

You have the most lovely blog! I had been thinking about this recently, after being asked what denomination I was. It's awfully confusing to some who are seeking Him! sigh. I love what a Jewish believer told me God shared with her once . . .that He will come and set it all right. :) Thank you for being a beautiful part of the body of Christ!
